We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The staff were so friendly, and the food was delicious - especially the shabu shabu. We also loved the DIY tempura and the beautiful breakfasts. The private onsen experience was unique and unforgettable. The location was perfect, right by the ocean front with stunning sunsets every evening, and conveniently close to the national park and the famous Shiretoko Five Lakes. The cleanliness of the hotel was superb, and the facilities were top-notch.
No issues.

The view from the window was amazing, you could almost touch the ocean! Plus, the food was delicious and we got so much of it! There were restaurants and convenience stores nearby too, so we didn't have to go far for anything we needed. The location was perfect, close to all the main attractions and easy to access.
The room was small and cramped, we barely had enough space to move around. And worst of all, the staff was not friendly at all!

The staff goes above and beyond to provide exceptional service, with the younger generation surprising guests with their impressive English language skills. The rooms are spacious and clean, offering a great view of the stars at night. Additionally, the breakfast served is delicious and varied, ensuring a satisfying start to the day.
Everything was on point.

Cozy and family-friendly atmosphere with delicious home-cooked meals. The staff is extremely helpful, making you feel like you're part of their family. The private outdoor onsen with a stunning view of the sea and mountains was a unique experience. The location is perfect for exploring the nearby national park and seeing wildlife up close.
The walls and floors are quite thin and noise from other guests can be heard easily. The bed was a bit too firm for my liking.

This quiet and homely hotel is located right at the edge of the wilderness on the Shiretoko peninsula with just a road in between. The rooms are cosy, clean and furnished with comfortable tatami mats. Guests can enjoy private outdoor onsens, with two options to choose from. Breakfast and dinner include a delectable spread of fresh local seafood, meat, and vegetables. The staff is always on hand to assist and can prepare delicious vegetarian meals on request.
The ventilation system in the kitchen could be improved as the smell of cooking can be noticeable throughout the hotel during mealtimes.

I had a truly memorable experience at Hotel Kifu Club Shiretoko. The moment I arrived, I was treated to breathtaking views of the sea from my spacious and clean traditional room. The food at the hotel was simply amazing - each meal was a delicious feast with multiple courses prepared with care. I especially enjoyed the DIY tempura dinner and the mouthwatering shabu shabu. The private onsen experience was incredibly invigorating, although a bit chilly to get to at first. The staff were friendly and helpful, even suggesting local events like the nearby festival. The hotel's convenient location near nature centers and hiking trails was a definite plus. The warm atmosphere and welcoming staff made me feel right at home. I highly recommend this magnificent hotel for a truly exceptional stay in Shiretoko.
